Privacy

The public board keeps nothing about you. There is no saved search, no alert and no bookmark on it, because there is nothing to keep them against; every filter you set lives in the address bar and nowhere else.

Company marks on the board are our own copies, fetched by us from the employer’s own website on a schedule and served from our own origin. Opening a board page loads nothing from anyone else, so it tells no third party who you are or which employer you were reading about. A mark is not a claim by us about the employer, and we do not verify it.

An account holds what you put in it: your profile, your CVs, your applications and their packs, and the roles you save. It is processed to provide the service you signed up for; where a purpose goes beyond that — sharing your record with an adviser or an agency, a self-declared circumstance, a sensitive category — it happens only on a consent you give explicitly and can withdraw. We do not infer protected characteristics from a CV or from anything else.

Every dataset we hold is registered with its purpose and lawful basis, and the register is what drives deletion: a request to erase fans out to every module the register names.

Both are self-service. From an account’s Settings → Privacy you can request a full export of your data or its deletion; each request shows its statutory due date and its progress, and a deletion shows a receipt per module once it completes. An export file is itself removed after thirty days.

Retention runs as scheduled policies rather than by hand. Among the defaults: abandoned profile imports are removed after thirty days, and private career documents stay under your control for as long as the account is active.

A hiring decision is made by a person. Where an employer uses the product to manage applicants, every decision is recorded with the person who made it, their reason and the time, and nothing automated rejects an applicant or moves one through a stage — no score threshold, no knockout filter.

A named privacy contact is not yet published; the contact page says what is. Until then, export and deletion — the two requests most people make — need nobody’s permission and are on the settings page of every account.
